Every Big Project Starts Small. What you see today as RealDevTips.com once began as a modest family website.
How It Started
Originally, this space was created as a kind of “digital memory.” I used it to write down everything I was afraid I might forget:
- Complex — and not-so-complex — programming solutions;
- Step-by-step guides explaining how to do things in different programs — practical tutorials for less experienced friends;
- Everyday life hacks: from gardening tips to flashing home devices;
- Thoughts and impressions about vinyl records and concerts.
As my professional skills grew, so did the website. The convenient search and structured categorization I originally built for myself gradually started attracting other professionals as well. I realized that my “notes in the margins” were helping colleagues solve real problems faster.
A New Chapter: RealDevTips.com
The transformation into RealDevTips.com is a deliberate step toward creating high-quality content for the IT community. We kept the same sincerity and practical mindset, but focused on what matters most: real tips for developers.
What Changed?
- Focus
We separated technical expertise into its own dedicated direction so professional content would no longer get lost among everyday notes. - Mission
To help developers find concise, reliable, and practical solutions — without unnecessary fluff. - Continuity
Despite the more professional name, the project still keeps its family spirit. My children continue to inspire me to develop this resource, and I still believe that knowledge is meant to be shared.
If our experience helps even one person, then all of this has been worth it.
